My own roots in training are in the Person-Centred approach which means you will be treated as a unique individual with many answers within you. You are the expert in your experience and I am here to provide a safe and confidential space for you to be able to explore what is challenging you. Together we will seek to understand these challenges and experiences. My recent training in the integrative approach means we can access other tools and ideas to support our process together. This could be using Cognitive Behaviour Techniques (CBT) or simply exploring your thoughts around your values and attitude to life. The process is directed by you, however at times I may bring in my own ideas to help if necessary, but only if you feel comfortable.

I am Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and adhere to its Ethical Framework and Code of Good Practice, which may be viewed via their website www.bacp.co.uk. click here I am also a member of Hampshire Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (HACP). click here www.hacp.co.uk.
